Speaker Bio- Trent

With a razor sharp intellect and friendly demeanor, Trent engages audiences both intellectually and emotionally about the issue of abortion. He was personally trained by renowned pro-life speaker Scott Klusendorf in the art of “Making Abortion Unthinkable.” In addition, Trent has been trained by Melanie Welsch, Education Director of The Life Ed. Corp and speaks on behalf of the Underground Project regularly. 

A history and philosophy major at Arizona State University, Trent breaks down the pro-life position’s toughest objections and presents the case against abortion in a clear and memorable way for both friendly audiences and critics.     

Trent’s passion to defend life began in high school where he participated in a local youth group and first encountered the pro-life message.  Upon graduating he spent three years volunteering for his youth group giving talks related to defending a biblical worldview.  In 2003 he was invited to appear on the internet radio show “Live with the Infidel Guy” to debate the merits of Christianity.  After youth ministry, Trent devoted his efforts to proclaiming the pro-life message when he joined the Underground Project and ASU Students for Life. Trent has helped spread the pro-life message at the ASU campus by writing pro-life editorials and training students in the art of pro-life persuasion.  He has also traveled the country speaking at college campuses with Justice for All, a traveling pro-life exhibit.  In addition to being an accomplished speaker, Trent also utilizes his years of experience in the television broadcast industry to produce the Underground Project’s videos, which have appeared with Fr. Frank Pavone on EWTN. 

The issue of abortion has touched Trent’s life in a very deep and personal way, so he has an intimate knowledge of the pain surrounding this issue and approaches every talk with a compassionate, heartfelt tone that disarms even the harshest critics.  Trent’s experience with youth ministry also allows him to connect with youth on a personal level and to ignite their passions for defending life.
