Goals:

• To BUILD RELATIONSHIPS amongst club officers, members, and newcomers.
• To INSPIRE newcomers to join the club and become active in the pro-life arena.

Preliminary notes:

 
• Members should be encouraged to bring friends.
• Make sure not to let the expenses of any of these activities swallow up your club savings!

End of the Semester BBQ
 

MAKE NOTE: AZRTL will be putting together an End of semester BBQ Potluck every semester for all the AZ high school, college, and university clubs so make sure to keep in touch. This is also a great chance to network with other clubs.

Before Event Task List:

1. Decide on a date, time, location, and how much money should be budgeted for this activity (have the treasurer come up with figures).

2. Plan out how the event will flow.

3. Get materials you'll be using:

• BBQ items: chips, hot dogs/hamburgers, buns, condiments, and drinks.
• Games: Catch Phrase, Apples to Apples, Frisbee, volleyball, or softball.
• Optional: posters to direct people where the club will be gathering.
 

4. Contact:

• Club members - encourage members to bring a friend!
• Club advisor(s)
• Families (optional). If you make the event this large, you'll definitely want to make it potluck-style (everyone bring a dish) to help split costs.

Optional: consider preparing and showing a slideshow of the semester's events. This may only be feasible if you do event indoors.
 

Other activities:

• Volleyball, softball, or Frisbee at a nearby park
• Ice cream or pizza social (great ideas for beginning of the semester social since they do not require too much planning)
• Movie night
